The Annual Lord’s Lunch
On the last Monday in November for the past years, the wonderful Club Cricket Conference Lunch Committee have arranged this hugely successful event.
With around 400 guests it is a massive value lunch which benefits both The Conference and The Club Cricket Charity
Representative Cricket
Thanks to our relationship with The Club Cricket Conference, The Charity forms part of a network of representative cricket matches and competitions designed to give cricketers the experience of playing against the professionals, and others of the higher echelons of the sport.
The Conference arranges fixtures for mid-week games against teams from overseas, The Home Counites Second Xl’s, Minor Counties and major Cricket clubs across the South and East of England. We help clubs celebrate centenaries and other commemorative occasions and have an under 25 team to help with development sides. We are keen to increase our numbers of games with charitable content.
The Charity also actively supports two competitions organised by the Conference. The Conference Cup for the Bertie Joel trophy is growing in stature and has over 32 clubs in a knockout format for the prestigious prize. The Sovereign Trophy is for non-premier Leagues and attracts a strong list of teams.
